This drachm coin was minted in Sinope, an ancient Greek city located in the region of Paphlagonia, circa 330-300 BC. On the obverse side of the coin, you can see the head of a nymph facing left, wearing a sakkos (a type of headgear), with an aphlaston (a ship's stern) to the left. The reverse side features a sea-eagle standing left with wings spread, perched on a dolphin, and the Greek letters ΔEP / ΣINΩ.
